•  Nebraska "Freestyle" State Open Tournament
• The KRCC - Kings Row Checker Club will host The KRCC Omaha City
  Open GAYP Checker Tournament on August 12th, 2006 in Omaha, Nebraska at the American Legion on 78th and Davenport Street.
  
• Three divisions - A, B, and C.  There will be 7 rounds of play, $10.00 entry fee (lunch provided).

The Omaha, Nebraska "Freestyle" Checker Championship was held at the American Legion Post #1 on Saturday, August 12.  John Pestal won the competition with 27 points and is the Omaha, NE city champion for 2006.  There were 6 rounds of spirited competition for all.  Submitted by Dave Stovie
